Very specific neck work that gets into those tight, sore tiny spots along your cervical vertebrae and at the base of your skull. I also go into the upper traps, between the shoulder blades and the deep muscles of the back. If you have issues with tight, sore jaws or TMJ issues I know a great techniques for releasing the jaw. I first learned these techniques of going inside the mouth to access the deep muscles of the jaw during my 150 hr Structural Integration training in 1996. I have been using them ever since with great results for stress and jaw pain. It can provide profound results for jaw pain, headaches and general well-being. It may sound intimidating but I'm only using 5 grams of pressure which is about the weight of a nickle on your fingertip. It is a VERY GENTLE but effective treatment. Stress and clenching and grinding the jaw can cause the muscles of the neck and shoulders to tighten up in so I also work those those areas as well. I do specific work on those areas to reach the deepest muscles that may be contributing to the jaw muscles wanting to tighten up. There is something called the pain spasm cycle which means the muscles response to pain is to tighten up. Pain=Spasm=Pain=then that can cause more pain because now a muscle is clamping down on a nerve (there are nerves in and around the jaw that can cause headaches) or the muscles at the base of your skull can inhibit blood flow to the brain which can cause all kinds of problems.
